Large 18th Century German Carved Wooden Corpus Christi Christ Sculpture

Large carved wooden Corpus Chrisi Christ Sculpture from the 18th century. Possibly part of an altar crucifix in a church. Painted ivory coloured surface over wooden carving, with aged patina and paint loses that create a characterful atmosphere. Large nail still in the feet.

Generally good condition for age. Loses to 2 fingers on left hand, restoration to arm joints.
