Early 20th Century Large Indian Occasional Hand Carved Table

Early 20thCentury Large Indian Occasional Hand Carved Table A highly decorative and unusually large hand carved Indian occasional table. Dated from the first quarter of the 20thcentury, made from hard wood and detailed in floral and intricate geometric patterns.

The design and style of fret work arch way sections is typical of the northern Indian regions such as Jaipur. Completely solid in structure and form, with natural wear and patination across all surfaces due to age and use.

The tabletop has a small crack as pictured but is in other good solid condition. A stunning example carved hall occasional table.

Having a bear to the central flanked by sunflower medallions with a repeating foliate pattern to the outer and carved geometric pattern to edge The under tier table all supported on six carved curved scrolled legs. A really stunning and very eye-catching piece.

Collection welcome from Grassington in the Yorkshire Dales. I'm happy to package it and post it to the mainland UK and Highlands and Islands of Scotland.
